INGULADOS in March: congresses, fairs and lectures

March has been a busy month for the Ingulados team. Congresses, fairs, workshops and a distinction that deserves a separate mention. We gather it all together in a single entry because the common thread is the same in all of them: applied work, conversations that generate ideas and presence where the sector moves.

AVEE: equine medicine and performance

At the beginning of the month we were in Zaragoza for the XV AVEE International Congress, one of the reference meetings in equine medicine and surgery. Two days of presentations with veterinarians and researchers who work daily with individuals, studs and sport horses.

We are proud to present INGUBAL Equine, our postbiotic supplement for high performance horses. Postbiotics are still little known in the equine field, although scientific evidence has been accumulating for years and interest among professionals is growing.

ANVEPI: focus on Iberian pigs

Seville hosted the XVI ANVEPI Forum, focused on the Iberian pig sector. Our colleague Waldo Luis García Jiménez participated as a speaker with an intervention on bioactive compounds, immunomodulators and postbiotics in current health strategies.

What makes his approach so powerful in the industry is the combination of direct on-farm work and academic research. It is unusual to see both in the same person.

Iberzoo+Propet: companion animals

From March 11 to 13 we were at Iberzoo+Propet, the reference fair for the pet sector in Spain.

Among the program activities, Veterindustria’s presentation –“Nutritional supplements: fad or real advantage for veterinarians and pets?”– raised a question that we have been answering for some time with applied work. Our research in postbiotics goes in that direction: to understand what is behind each compound, what evidence supports it and how it translates into concrete results in the clinic.

Vilomix Nutrition Summit: intestinal health in Iberian pigs

On March 19, Waldo participated in the Vilomix Nutrition Summit dedicated to the Iberian pig, held at the Parador de Zafra. A meeting that brought together relevant companies and organizations of the sector.

He participated in the intestinal health workshop with two presentations: “Immunity and intestinal health” and “Autovaccines as a complementary tool in prevention and control plans”, the latter in collaboration with the University of León. These are two lines on which Ingulados has been working for years and which are generating more and more interest among Iberian pig professionals.

Gold Medal for Professional Merit for Pedro Fernández

The General Council of Industrial Relations and Labor Sciences of Spain awarded Pedro Fernandez, CEO of Ingulados, the Gold Medal for Individual Professional Merit. The ceremony took place on March 14 in Puertollano.

Personal circumstances prevented him from being present, and it was Dr. Rafael Ruiz Calatrava, President of the Council, who accepted the award on his behalf. A well-deserved recognition.
