Our core activity is the research in the area of veterinary medicine and biotechnology, aiming at the development of products and services that improve animal health, thus contributing to the improvement of environmental and human health under the “ONE HEALTH” global strategy.
The main research line of INGULADOS is the study of the microbiota and the characterization of bioactive compounds with immunomodulatory and antimicrobial properties. The use of these compounds in animal nutrition improves productive and health parameters, favouring the reduction in the use of antibiotics.
In addition, INGULADOS researches on the development of innovative management measures and tools applied to extensive and hunting livestock farms that helps to improve the health, the conservation of both the species themselves and the ecosystem, and to the compatibility of livestock and hunting farming. Currently, INGULADOS advises and manages more than 150,000 hectares distributed in the central and southern Spain.
