Definition of autovaccine included in RD 666/2023 of July 18, which regulates the distribution, prescription, dispensation and use of veterinary drugs.
An inactivated immunological drug that is manufactured from pathogenic microorganisms and antigens obtained from one or more animals of an epidemiological unit, for use in animals of that unit, or of another unit with which an epidemiological relationship has been established.
ARE SPECIFIC
They are made with pathogenic strains isolated from the farm or animal itself, identified and directed to their epidemiological unit of origin.
ARE SAFE
The manufacturing process includes the inactivation of the pathogenic agent; therefore, in no case can they reproduce the disease.
EXCLUSIVE
They are indicated when there is no registered vaccine for that pathogen, the antigenic variant is not included, or the lack of efficacy in that farm has been demonstrated.
ARE AUTHORIZED
They are manufactured under veterinary prescription in our authorized laboratory (REG INGULATED AV-001-CC), complying with current regulations.
